What is Confession?

Why do deaf Catholics go to the confessional to confess their sins to a priest?

Imagine going to a deaf club to socialise or entering a sport team and loses control that lead to bad behaviour?

Our Lord gave his apostles and the Church, a second great commandment:

"You shall love your neighbour as yourself."

Reflecting on what has happened and feeling guilty for their action before God who is all good and holy, they need to reconcile themselves to Him again. Catholics believe they sin occasionally through their own fault, they make sure that they've confess all their sins and receive graces before going to Mass.

This is a Sacrament of Penance where they receive forgiveness for their sins and receive graces from God to avoid what is wrong and harmful to their souls by doing what is good and holy as taught by His Church.
